I want to find a way to organize the various tools my 3rd grade students need in class. We have many math tools such as rulers, calculators, templates, etc. that we need
to have handy. It takes too much instructional time to pass these items out whenever we
need them.
Sounds like a great plan! Organization is key in the classroom.

ReplyDeleteThis topic is very important to me and the management of my classroom. If you are not an elementary school teacher this need for organization probably seems irrelevant. If you are a teacher of young children you will see the need.

I have explored many different ways to organize all the tools we need for math.
We could have everything in the desk. This would be great except students like to play with these when they are not needed for the lesson. Many items can get broken or "lost".
What about putting the items into tubs? Great idea! Where would I keep these when not in use? Where do we put them when we are using items in them?
